Machine Girl

2008.04.20

Machine Girl Poster Was fortunate enough to attend the U.S. premiere of The Machine Girl (Kataude Mashin Gâru) at HIFF‘s Spring Showcase. It was insanely great – everything promised in the trailer. If you’ve seen the trailer (and if not, what are you waiting for?), you’ll know whether this movie is for you.

But really, what’s not to like in a vengeance splatter flick featuring Japanese schoolgirls, yakuza, ninja, tempura, sushi, a machine gun, a junior high shuriken squad, a chain saw, flying guillotine, drill bra, and ok, yes, some gore? Sugoi!

Click on the poster for a web site with the trailer and other Machine Girl goodness.
