PolitiFact has compiled about 500 promises that Barack Obama made during the campaign and is tracking their progress on their Obameter. They rate their status as No Action, In the Works or Stalled. Once they find action is completed, they rate them Promise Kept, Compromise or Promise Broken.
Reporters and editors from the St. Petersburg Times also fact-check statements by members of Congress, the White House, lobbyists and interest groups and rate them on their Truth-O-Meter and Flip-O-Meter. They even have an RSS feed.
Annenberg’s FactCheck.org is another excellent non-partisan monitor of political factual accuracy. The National Journal is tracking progress on Obama’s campaign promises as well, but their Promise Audit site is not nearly as polished as PolitiFact’s Obameter.
